SARATOGA BRIDE, Sophia and Ed’s Hawaii Honeymoon

SARATOGA BRIDAL EXPO WINNERS

Sophia and Ed’s Hawaii Honeymoon

Sophia and Ed, of Saratoga Springs NY, got married this past May 2018 and went on their honeymoon to Hawaii immediately following. They had won 2 free nights at The Modern Honolulu at The Saratoga Bride ‘Bridal Expo’ through Live Life Travel and then continued to plan the remainder of their honeymoon in Hawaii with myself, a Honeymoon Travel Specialist at Live Life Travel. Here’s a peak of what their Hawaii Honeymoon looked like!

Island 1 – Oahu – The Modern Honolulu (3 nights)

Sophia and Ed arrived and of course spent their first day at leisure as all of our couples do on their honeymoon. While in Oahu, they also toured the Pearl Harbor Museum which was a priority of theirs.

“We had an amazing ocean front room overlooking the harbor and saw some amazing sunsets. We really enjoyed the pool and the proximity to the beach. We were able to walk to Waikiki beach and take in the sights.” – Ed and Sophia

Island 2 – Maui – The Fairmont Kea Lani Maui in Wailea (6 nights)

“When we got to Maui we truly felt like we arrived in Hawaii!! The Fairmont was beautiful, and we had an AMAZING suite with a wraparound veranda which allowed us to oversee the garden/pool area AND the beach.” – Ed and Sophia.

In Maui, Ed and Sophia enjoyed many excursions including a traditional luau feast, a waterfall and rainforest hike, the infamous Haleakala Sunrise Bicycle Tour and they enjoyed a sunset sail on their final night in Maui together.

Island 3 – The Big Island – Four Seasons Hualalai (3 nights)

Their final stop in Hawaii was at the Four Seasons in Kona. This was intentionally planned with no excursions and was designed to be the “Grand Finale” of what was a “Dream Honeymoon” for Sophia and Ed. “There really are no words to describe this place.

When we landed in Kona we were blown away by how different the landscape was from that of Maui and Oahu. It was more of a desert black landscape with all the lava rocks. The facilities at the Four Seasons were frankly THE BEST that Sophia and I have ever stayed at.” – Sophia and Ed
